The default privacy ranking for health messages sent by Idaho HAN is "Private". When health messages are created, they are designated as either "Public" or "Private", based on the following privacy ranking criteria:
A "Private" health message can be viewed by the recipients of the health message and specific users, based on their user types and organization.
A "Public" health message can be viewed by anyone in the public health community. All Idaho HAN user types and anyone who accesses the Idaho HAN web site can view public health messages.
