About user statuses

Idaho HAN supports the following five user statuses:

Pending:

Users with Pending status have either (1) requested access to the system via the registration process and are waiting for the Organization Administrator to grant or deny them access to the system or (2) changed organization affiliations and are waiting for the new Organization Administrator to approve the change to the new organization. In either case, users with Pending status cannot log on to Idaho HAN.

Active:

Users with Active status have been approved to access the system or were added to the system via the User Profile screen or the batch import process. The Active status indicates that the user account is active.

Inactive:

Users with Inactive status have been automatically inactivated by the system because of three consecutive failed log on attempts. An Inactive user cannot log on to Idaho HAN, but will continue to receive health messages.

Deleted:

Users with Deleted status have been deleted by the themselves or by a System or Organization Administrator. A Deleted user must be kept in the system because of data integrity reasons (e.g., they have created a health message or posted a news item). A Deleted user cannot log on to Idaho HAN.

Note: The user ID of a deleted user cannot be reused by another user on Idaho HAN.

Denied:

Users with Denied status submitted an application to access the HAN system but  were denied access for some reason. A Denied user is retained in the system for a period of 60 days before his or her profile is deleted. A Denied user cannot log on to Idaho HAN.

Note: The user ID of a denied user cannot be reused by another user on Idaho HAN.
