Eastern Idaho Public Health to Begin Offering Evusheld This Preventative Antibody Therapy is FDA-EUA Authorized
Eastern Idaho Public Health (EIPH) is pleased to announce that we have started offering Evusheld at all our locations.
Evusheld is an FDA-EUA authorized preventative monoclonal antibody therapy for individuals who are immunocompromised; or individuals who are not effectively protected by the COVID-19 vaccine or unable to receive the COVID-19 vaccine. Patients must also not be currently infected with COVID-19, have not recently been exposed to an infected individual, and meet the additional guidelines provided under the FDA’s Emergency Use Authorization.
Per EIPH standing orders, any individual who has a history of cardiovascular disease and/or who is pregnant, will need an order from their Primary Care Provider to receive Evusheld at our office.
Patients can contact our scheduling line at 208-533-3223 or 855-533-3160 to schedule an appointment starting April 25, 2022. The following locations will offer Evusheld:
