The purpose of this guide is to provide users a tool for learning how to use the Idaho Health Alert Network (HAN) web application. It provides the following information to users of Idaho HAN:
Information about user types, statuses, organizations, and roles
Navigating the Idaho HAN web site
Registering as a first-time user
Logging on and logging off of Idaho HAN
Maintaining your user profile
Viewing, creating, and modifying health messages and news items
Managing user profiles, registration, organizations, and roles (Organization and System Administrators Only)
Managing system settings and logs (System Administrators Only)
This guide addresses an audience that consists of two major user types. These users operate in various capacities with the public health community, including organizations and roles:
Users: This audience includes Anonymous Users, Registered Users, Organization User, and Organization Super Users.
Administrators: This audience includes Organization Administrators and System Administrators.
